Monitor the overall working of the DC processes periodically and conduct inspections at irregular intervals to check and rectify non•adherence to process • Discuss the issues which come out of the 3PL audit with the S&P & 3PL Operations Manager to work out the changes required & date for resolution. • Work out the resolution for all the Inventory issues within DC & resolve any mismatches between physical & system stock with line Managers. • Interact with Vendors on persistent issues from both ends & provide resolution for the same. • Interact with transport service providers for any issues on service with dates for resolution. • Plan for the Distribution Center resources in terms of manpower, tools and equipment • Plan all the expenses in such a way as to ensure adherence to the budget plans. • Coordinate the order filling process, so that orders are filled according to established standards, and appropriately communicate any opportunities within the supply chain after interaction with Stores & line manager. • Work on the optimization of the DC processes, work flows, capacity plans, technology etc to ensure the increase in the productivity of the labour, equipment efficiency and capacity enhancement. • Analyze data on the shrinkages and merchandise loss and improve on the shrinkage and loss prevention • Ensure appropriate work environment for people, housekeeping and hygiene is maintained in the entire Supply Chain • Ensure the facilities management processes are followed diligently to ensure high equipment and infrastructure uptime for uninterrupted operations of the Supply Chain • Ensure that the DC is updated in terms of all statutory & legal compliances . • Ensure effective management safety processes for safe work environment, enforce safety discipline, ensure disciplinary action against those violating safety procedures and norms of the company”
