We are looking for a Senior Manager – Legal with extensive experience in business legal matters, particularly in international operations contracts for our client. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in drafting and negotiating international agreements, distributor agreements, import & export contracts, and possess a strong knowledge of intellectual property (IP), compliance, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the legal aspects of international business operations.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of international agreements and contracts.
Oversee distributor agreements, import & export contracts, ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
Provide legal guidance on IP matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Ensure company compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement governance policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and strategies.
Provide training and mentorship to junior legal staff.

Qualifications:
LLB from an accredited institution
A minimum of 12 years of experience in business legal matters, with a focus on international operations contracts.
Proven track record in drafting and negotiating international agreements and contracts.
Extensive experience with distributor agreements, import & export contracts.
Strong knowledge of IP law, compliance, and governance.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
